Who reviews this encyclopedia
I'm Steven Ellis. I lead the editorial work behind every coach profile, comparison, net-worth breakdown, and ranking Voiceloop publishes — and I review each page before it goes live.
I'm writing about the coaching and sales-training industry because I've operated inside it, not next to it. I ran a coaching business — Scale With Steven — and worked directly with more than 100 founders and operators on offers, funnels, and paid acquisition before stepping back from active coaching in 2026. I've managed over $100M in spend on the same ad platforms most of the coaches profiled here teach, sell on, and run their own businesses through. I came up through Hollywood creative development before any of that, which is where I learned to tell the difference between a real story and a packaged one.
That matters for a simple reason. Most of the pages that rank for "is this coach legit" are written by people who have never built an offer, never run a webinar, never closed a high-ticket call, and never spent a dollar of their own money on traffic. They're affiliate sites reverse-engineered to sell you a different course. I've done the work these programs describe. When I read a sales page, I know which claims are standard, which are aggressive, and which are unverifiable — because I've written pages like them.
How I treat these profiles
The coaches here are not targets. Many of them are genuinely good operators, and some are people I respect. My job is to be accurate and fair, not to manufacture controversy for clicks. Where a program has documented criticism — court records, regulatory action, widely-sourced disputes — I report it factually with the source. Where there's nothing but anonymous noise, I leave it out. Pricing that I can't confirm at the primary source is labeled "reported," with the date and where it came from.
Voiceloop takes no affiliate commission from any coach or program mentioned anywhere on this site, and it never will. That independence is the entire point — it's what lets these pages be useful instead of being one more funnel.
Why Voiceloop publishes this at all
I build Voiceloop, the product these profiles sit alongside. Voiceloop turns the calls coaches already run into posts in their own voice. Studying how the best operators in this industry actually publish — their cadence, their formats, the way they turn a single idea into a week of content — is directly useful to the people we serve. So we wrote it down, openly, and put my name on it.
